Discipleship Part I
We believe that discipleship is an important part of what we do here at First Baptist. A big part of discipleship is simply learning what the Bible says and understanding why Christians believe the things we do. Our first step in the discipleship process focuses on learning some essential Christian truths. We learn those things on Sunday morning during YBF.
YOUTH BIBLE FELLOWSHIP is a great opportunity to plug in and get involved here at FBCLS. This time on Sunday morning at 9:45 is meant to compliment our youth mission and help students learn the deeper things of their faith. The topics that we have chosen for this year are apologetics, theology, evangelism and bible basics. Every student wil take all four of these classes throughout the course of the school year. Each class lasts for 9 weeks and focuses on teaching students these fundamental elements of the faith so that they might always be prepared to give an account for their faith. Students travel through each class with friends their own age and each class is taught with age and maturity in mind so that students get everything they can digest but not more than they can handle.
